James R. Antoniono
Attorney Jim Antoniono primarily practices in the following areas: Plaintiff, Personal Injury; Wills & Estate Planning; Estate Administration and Real Estate. He is currently Treasurer of the PA Bar Association. As Treasurer, he chairs the PA Bar Long Range Planning Committee, the Investment Committee and the Finance Committee. He is a past member of the PA Bar Association, Board of Governors and PA Trial Lawyers, Board of Governors. Attorney Antoniono is a past President of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers, Westmoreland County Bar Association, Westmoreland County Bar Foundation and the Westmoreland County Academy of Trial Lawyers.
He is one of only 9 members of the Westmoreland County Bar Association to be selected to receive the President’s Award. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Attorney Antoniono is a past President of the County Conference of Bar Leaders Board. He received his BA from Pennsylvania State University, his MA from Rutgers University [Eagleton Fellow] and his J.D. from Duquesne University.
Attorney Antoniono also served 4 years of active duty in the US Army, having been discharged as a Staff Sergeant with the Army Commendation Medal. He served in Berlin and behind the Iron Curtin in East Germany as a member of the US Military Liaison Mission. He has over 20 years of non-profit board experience and has helped form and is part owner of multiple commercial business enterprises.
William J. McCabe
Attorney William J. McCabe graduated with high honors from St. Vincent College, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He became a licensed attorney in 1980. Before practicing law, he attended law school at Duquesne University School of Law and graduated in 1980. He has been a shareholder of DeBernardo, Antoniono, McCabe and Davis, P.C. since 1986.
Attorney McCabe for many years has received the prestigious Martindale Hubbell AV Rating, and well as Super Lawyer designation in 2004, and again from 2013 to 2023, an honor for which he was selected subsequent to undergoing an evaluation of many different factors including peer recognition and professional achievement. He was also recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s Top Rated Lawyers, 2012 Edition.
He helps clients with a broad range of legal issues including the defense of state and federal criminal prosecutions; personal injury cases, and estate administration and related litigation.
Sandra E. Davis
Attorney Davis is a shareholder with the law firm of DeBernardo, Antoniono, McCabe & Davis, P.C. She received her B.A. from Seton Hill College and her J.D. from Duquesne University. Prior to attending Law School, Ms. Davis also earned a Masters of Education decree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Davis is a member of the Westmoreland County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association, where she served on the Executive Council of the Family Law Section for several terms.
Attorney Davis is also certified in mediation and authored the Westmoreland County Section of the Family Law Practice in Western Pennsylvania PBI Handbook for several editions. She is frequently a panelist and lecturer on a multitude of matrimonial issues, as well as issues of interest to the general public. Ms. Davis maintains a general practice with a concentration on all areas of Family Law including Adoption, Pre-Nuptial Agreement, Divorce, Support, Custody, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Real Estate.
Timothy R. Miller
Attorney Tim Miller focuses his practice in the areas of Criminal Defense, Family Law and Municipal Law. Tim also has a background as a general practitioner. Tim is licensed to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Attorney Miller is a graduate of American University, where he majored in journalism. He attended Duquesne University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor Degree in 2012. While at Duquesne, Tim was a member of the Trial Advocacy Program, Juris Magazine staff and received the C.A.L.I. award for excellence in Federal Civil Procedure.
Upon graduation from Duquesne, Tim joined DeBernardo, Antoniono, McCabe & Davis, P.C. Tim also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Armstrong County from 2017 to 2019. Tim is a member of the Westmoreland County Bar Association, Armstrong County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Tim currently serves as Solicitor for Armstrong County, Gilpin Township, Bethel Township, the Armstrong County Prison Board and the New Florence St. Clair Township Sanitary Authority. Tim was the 2019 recipient of the Westmoreland Bar Association Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. In 2024, Attorney Miller was named as a Partner/Shareholder with DeBernardo, Antoniono, McCabe & Davis, P.C.
Pauline M. Calabrese
Attorney Pauline M. Calabrese, has served in all the Divisions of the Court of Common Pleas, where she has gained experience representing clients in jury and non-jury trials. However, she has focused her practice on family law and estate law. She received her bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law. During her time in law school, she had the privilege of serving as an intern for the Honorable Carol Los Mansmann, a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Pauline served as an attorney in juvenile court for several high-profile custody cases. The film Losing Isaiah, is based on a number of cases, including one in which Pauline was court-appointed to represent one of the parties.
Pauline has shared her legal knowledge with other attorneys and CPAs as a Continuing Legal Education presenter in the areas of family law and estate law. She has been an adjunct faculty member at the Community College of Allegheny County and she served as the supervising attorney for the Law Clinic at the Duquesne University School of Law. Pauline spent over a decade as an adjunct associate professor at Carlow University. She has five grown children with her husband, who is also an attorney.
Pauline volunteers as an attorney with Neighborhood Legal Services and has received the Legal Excellence Award for her Pro Bono work. She has served on the Board of Arsenal Family & Children’s Center and on the board of the Catholic Charities Free Healthcare Center, which provides healthcare and dental care to uninsured workers.
Patricia Lynn Elliott-Rentler (of counsel)
Patricia L. Elliott-Rentler, Esquire has been practicing law in Westmoreland County for over 25 years. Patricia holds dual degrees in Administration of Justice from the University of Pittsburgh, where she also obtained her Juris Doctor degree. Patricia began her legal career at Laurel Legal Services where she represented indigent clients in various facets of the law before becoming an Assistant District Attorney. As an Assistant District Attorney in both Westmoreland County and Philadelphia, Patricia prosecuted all types of cases, with a specific concentration on domestic violence cases, sexual assault matters, and crimes against children.
In 2002, Patricia opened a private practice which she ran successfully for 17 years before joining DeBernardo, Antoniono, McCabe & Davis, P.C. in 2019. Patricia’s areas of practice include, but are not limited to, Family Law (divorce, custody, support and adoptions), Criminal Defense, Juvenile Law, Wills, Trusts and Estates, and LGBTQIA+ matters.
